Day (1)

Every day starts with the ABCs (Agility, Balance & Co-ordination)

High tempo touch and technique training involving all parts of the body will include the world famous Roger Spry flexibility exercises. This will also include several small sided Games including the day's theme.


Day (2)

ABCs

Possession play, with the emphasis on positive passing and support play, patterns of play will be introduced at this stage; this will also include several small sided Games including the day's theme and full team play.


Day (3)

ABCs

Defending and Attacking from the front to the back, breaking from the back to the front, with two main areas of concentration, defending technique as a team and the striker's movement and support will be focal points of this session.


Day (4)

ABCs

Game preparation, incorporating corners and free kicks for and against, taking advantage of set plays e.g. throw- ins and set pieces. Focus on Twin Strikers, Midfield support, and Defending will also be catered for at this point, with a specific emphasis on keeping the team prepared and also fresh for the evening match. A coach's request for key areas of concern can also be cater for. Small sided games will be involved to highlight and address weaknesses.


Day (5)

ABCs

Finishing, individual and team orientated with progressions, crossing and finishing, early ball finishing, 1V1 on keeper, cross the face finishing, midfield or support player finishing.
